Gau Seva, the veneration and protection of cows, stands as an indispensable element of our rich Vedic heritage and cultural tapestry. Within our nation, cows are not just shielded but are held in the highest regard, bordering on worship. According to our venerable Vedic scriptures, the divine presence of devatas resides within a cow's body, elevating the cow to the status of a revered mother.

In adherence to this sacred duty, we have meticulously established Bhagirathi Agricultural Farms a spacious Gaushala on our campus of nearly eight acers. Presently, a flourishing community of around 200 cows and calves, finds joyous abode within these sacred precincts.

Our approach to cow protection seamlessly integrates the time-honoured wisdom of tradition with the precision of modern scientific methods. An impassioned and well-trained team labours ceaselessly to ensure the residents experience the utmost care and comfort. Cows and calves are treated to three meticulously planned and nutritionally balanced meals each day, featuring a blend of green fodder, dry fodder, and specially crafted mixtures incorporating wheat and other grains. Devotees shower their love feeding the cows with bananas and jaggery.

Expansive confines have been created for the cows to roam freely, grazing on lush, green grass. Specific zones are demarcated for calves, pregnant cows, milking cows, and oxen.

A distinctive aspect of our practice is the prioritization of milk for the nourishment of calves, underscoring a nurturing and harmonious environment. The surplus milk is ingeniously transformed into an array of dairy products, including yogurt, butter, and ghee.

These delectable offerings, infused with devotion, find their way into the trust kitchen, contributing to the preparation of food items for the annadan sewas.

The cow dung produced is spread across the agricultural farms enriching the soil.

A team of veterinary doctors is always on hand to handle preventive care and take care of any sick animals.

The trust aspires to expand services, extend shelters and grazing areas, and provide a peaceful home for more cows highlighting a commitment to the continued well-being of these sacred animals.
